Airborne laser scanning and professional aerial survey were performed using the latest model of TOPODRONE LiDAR 200+ and TOPODRONE P61 camera. DJI Matrice 300 RTK enterprise drone was used as a platform, and the payload was used on board simultaneously, which significantly reduced the time to perform the survey, and also allowed to build a dense point cloud of the surface and immediately colorize it using the data from the camera.
In the next part of the demonstration, we performed mobile laser scanning on a vehicle using a TOPODRONE LiDAR 200+ and a mobile vehicle-mounted kit, and then performed the survey using a backpack and an e-scooter. The whole field part took no more than 20 minutes, post-processing of the data took no more than 1 hour.
We also demonstrated the operation of multispectral camera, into which TOPODRONE P61 camera turns after installation of AGROWING Quad multispectral lens, performed photogrammetric survey of DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise with TOPODRONE Post Processing software, processed previously obtained LiDAR data, showed the function of volume measurement using point clouds. Separately, we presented a new product of the company - TOPODRONE SLAM 100 with the ability to work without GNSS.
The event was attended by representatives of many companies, the colleagues asked a lot of questions about the speed and complexity of data processing, about the details of drone operation, and compared the results of the demonstration with the data obtained with the GNSS receiver.
The participants of the event highly evaluated the quality of data and advantages of TOPODRONE equipment.
